I'm a rip the bandaid off kind of woman. I didn't know that until 30 years into this life, but I just do things.... Make things happen. I don't see a reason to drag decisions out, waste time, blah blah blah- you get the picture. So when it was time to change jobs (and I had found the perfect fit for my career goals) I ripped that bandaid right off.
**Please note, I do not endorse quitting a job before you have another lined up, but that's another blog post for another day**
Changing jobs is hard. Leaving co-workers you care about it hard. People don't always talk about the emotional roller coaster that happens when you change jobs, but it's a thing. The feelings, the new relationships, the fear of failure... It is all real and SO FLIPPING normal. No matter if you're a rip the bandaid kind of person, or a careful planner.... the feelings will happen with any big change and this book is a great tool to help walk through those feelings.
I've linked the paperback to this post (b/c we are all looking to save those dollars), but there is also a phenomenal leather bound option as well if you are looking for a more upscale gift or coffee table read. You can find the leather one HERE.
Here's to 2019.
