I began audible two years ago and haven't look back. Reviewing books that you technically didn't read (but listened to) was a weird concept at first, but here we are.
Elon Musk is a POWER-HOUSE. If you have ever heard of PayPal, Tesla, SpaceX, or, most recently, SolarCity, then you have heard of Elon Musk. This man is what I would call modern day Avatar. He doesn't need sleep and has probably figured out how to turn emails into calories burned (Elon, if this is true... please send a PSA) Besides his ridiculous non-human traits, I am choosing this book as my first audible review because frankly I am so glad I finished.
The book, firstly, is WAY TOO LONG. It borders on encouraging career pep-talk to memoir and because of that sometimes it was tough to keep going. The upside is that there are many nuggets of information about Elon Musk's in the book that will change your view on the technology mogul.
My list is not exhaustive. Although TV and news may paint him to be the real life Tony Stark, Elon is changing the world one self-driving car and rocket at a time. The book opened my eyes to curiosity and I am glad I took the time to listen to it. Now, post book, it is only slightly annoying how attentive I am to his products.
If you are looking for a long road trip audible book that tells a story of someone changing American technology, this is your book. And when you're done, you might be as big of an Elon fan as I am now.
