Paris in the summer with your best friend... will always include wine. You can see the events of our Paris trip HERE. There were no doubt the best cafes in the world at every corner in this town. A few of our favorite spots are definitly listed, but I would imagine there isn't a bad cheese or wine in this city.
2. Café du Trocadéro- This side walk cafe has the sweetest view of the Eiffel Tower we could find. We sat front row as the sun set over our wine and cheese (how much more French can we get?!) We ordered our new favorite wine (Brouilly Red) and the best cheese plate I have ever had. The BFF and one of our travel companions ordered Escargot but I had had enough with the food adventures so I opted for something more casual like soup. This is a favorite because of the view, and a definite great choice for a slow Paris evening.
There were so many more, but honestly our tactic was to stop when we were hungry and this was the best strategy to find hole in the wall gems of Paris. The only rule we followed on the food scene was "Always order the cheese plate." If you follow that rule, you won't steer yourself wrong.
